About The Role
We are looking for experienced Alteryx Developers to join our Digital Analytics team and play a critical role in our Finance & Accounting (F&A) automation initiatives. This role demands a blend of deep technical knowledge, domain expertise, and strong client-facing capabilities. As an Alteryx Developer, you will design and implement automation solutions, lead project delivery, and mentor junior team members while ensuring seamless coordination with both business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and execute automation opportunities within F&A processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Design, build, and deploy dynamic Alteryx workflows, macros, and analytic apps using Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server.
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery including planning, execution, and front-end client communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, data engineers, and IT stakeholders) to build scalable automation solutions and data pipelines.
- Define and support technical infrastructure, including solution design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Track progress and manage delivery timelines using JIRA and other project management tools.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and suggest enhancements to existing automation frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Alteryx, including development of :
- Custom macros
- Analytic apps
- Deployment and administration via Alteryx Server
- Strong expertise in SQL, ETL processes, and working with enterprise databases (e.g., Oracle, SAP HANA, SQL Server).
- Proficiency in data blending, cleansing, and transformation using Alteryx.
- Exposure to Python or R integration within Alteryx (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience working in agile environments with tools like JIRA for sprint planning and project tracking.
Domain Expertise
- Experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector.
- Prior work on Insurance-related data projects or similar F&A-aligned IT engagements.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting operations, business processes, and compliance needs.
