Role Overview:
As a Backend Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems that drive our payment solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with a talented team to ensure our platform is secure, scalable, and efficient, enabling seamless global transactions for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain backend services to support payment processing.
2. Build APIs and ensure their scalability, reliability, and performance.
3. Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
4. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
5. Implement security measures to protect sensitive financial data.
6. Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate best practices into the development process.
   

What We’re Looking For:

1. 3–5 years of experience in backend development.
2. Strong proficiency in Python, Ruby, or other modern programming languages.
3. Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
4. Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
5. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
6. Understanding of security practices, especially in handling financial data.
7. Bonus: Exposure to Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.
8. Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment.
