Key Responsibilities:
Automate API, ETL and Data Validation test cases using client’s framework for ETL processes using AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and Redis.
Develop and maintain test scripts using Java and Python for automating ETL testing and data validation.
Validate and verify ETL processes to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Collaborate with PO, Developers and clients to understand the business requirements, ensuring that all testing needs are met.
Utilize QTEST to manage test cases, defects, and track testing progress, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Perform data validation and testing by querying and validating data from DynamoDB, Redis, and other AWS storage systems.
Ensure test automation coverage by writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for ETL pipelines.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating test automation into Git.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and reviews to ensure testing requirements are met.
Write in-depth manual test cases and then automate those test cases
Create comprehensive proof of test document.
Requirements
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AWS ETL Automation SDET to join our team. Candidates should have strong expertise in testing and automating ETL pipelines using AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and Redis. Additionally, he should be proficient in Java and Python programming for test automation and have experience working with QTEST for test management. In this role, candidates will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our Lambda functions/Step functions processes by developing automated testing solutions. In this role, the candidate will require to create comprehensive manual test cases that covers all positive and negative scenarios, including edge cases. Additionally, they will be responsible for creating detailed proof of testing documents to ensure compliance requirements are met.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and Redis for ETL and data validation.
Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages for developing automated test scripts.
Experience with ETL testing and ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance through automation.
Solid knowledge of QTEST for managing test cases, defects, and test reporting.
Familiarity with SQL for querying and validating data from various sources.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation in Git and AWS environments.
Strong analytical skills to identify issues, debug problems, and ensure high-quality data processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certifications
Experience with performance testing and load testing of ETL processes.
Familiarity with data governance practices, ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
