GLOBAL TENDER MANAGER — INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Lars Medicare Pvt. Ltd. | New Delhi, Sonipat | Full-Time
About Lars Medicare
Lars Medicare is a 25-year-old Indian manufacturer and global exporter of high-quality medical disposables — including IV cannulas, infusion sets, blood transfusion sets, hypodermic syringes, respiratory devices, and safety devices. With a fully integrated production facility and a growing international footprint across multiple continents, we are now building a dedicated global tenders capability to accelerate our presence with multilateral agencies and public health procurement bodies worldwide.
The Role
We are looking for a sharp, well-networked Global Tender Manager who has actually cracked international tenders — not just supported them. This is a hunter role. You will own Lars Medicare's end-to-end global tender pipeline, with a strong focus on procurement by UN agencies, multilateral health organisations, and government health ministries across emerging and developed markets.
If you have successfully bid for — and won — tenders with UNICEF Supply Division, WHO, PAHO, UNFPA, IDA, or similar agencies, and you understand the technical and commercial specifics of medical disposables procurement, this role was built for you.
What You Will Own
Tender Intelligence & Pipeline Management — Continuously scan and track tender opportunities from UNICEF, WHO, PAHO, UNFPA, Global Fund, IDA Foundation, bilateral aid programmes, and government health ministries across Africa, Asia, Middle East, and Latin America. Build and maintain a rolling 12-month tender calendar.
End-to-End Bid Management — Lead the full tender lifecycle from expression of interest to final submission: eligibility assessment, document preparation, technical compliance, pricing strategy, bank guarantees, certifications, and post-bid follow-up.
Regulatory & Compliance Readiness — Ensure Lars Medicare's product portfolio maintains the certifications required for multilateral tenders (CE, ISO 13485, WHO prequalification, etc.) and proactively flag gaps well ahead of bid deadlines.
Relationship Building with Procurement Bodies — Develop and maintain direct relationships with procurement officers at UN agencies, government health departments, and large institutional buyers. Represent Lars Medicare at relevant global health exhibitions and procurement forums.
Commercial Strategy — Work with leadership to develop competitive pricing frameworks for tender bids, balancing margin with win probability. Analyse competitor bids and market pricing trends in the global public health procurement space.
Internal Coordination — Collaborate closely with the production, quality, regulatory, and logistics teams to ensure delivery commitments made in tenders are executable and on time.
Reporting — Maintain a structured pipeline tracker and provide regular win/loss analysis, bid conversion rates, and market intelligence reports to leadership.
What We Are Looking For
Experience — 7 to 12 years of experience in international tenders or global business development, with at least 3 to 5 years specifically handling tenders for UNICEF, WHO, PAHO, UNFPA, IDA, or equivalent multilateral procurement agencies. Candidates without direct multilateral tender experience will not be considered for this role.
Industry — Prior experience in the medical devices, medical disposables, pharmaceutical, or healthcare consumables industry is strongly preferred. Understanding of product specifications, certifications, and quality requirements in this space is a significant advantage.
Technical Knowledge — Deep familiarity with UNGM (UN Global Marketplace) registration, UNICEF Supply Division processes, WHO prequalification, and standard multilateral tender document structures (ITB, RFP, EOI formats).
Commercial Acumen — Strong understanding of pricing for public health procurement, Incoterms, payment terms in international tenders, and cost-to-serve modelling.
Skills — Exceptional written English for tender submissions. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous bids. Proficiency in Excel and bid tracking tools. French or Spanish language skills are a plus given the procurement geographies involved.
Education — Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory if the track record is strong.
Why This Role
Lars Medicare has the product range, certifications, and manufacturing scale to compete credibly for large multilateral tenders. What we need now is someone who knows this world from the inside — who can walk into a UNICEF procurement cycle knowing exactly what it takes to win. You will be the first dedicated person in this function, which means you will build the playbook, own the relationships, and directly shape a high-visibility growth vertical for the company.
How to Apply
Send your CV along with a brief note (no more than 250 words) listing the two or three most significant tenders you have personally won — mention the agency, the product category, and the approximate value. Applications without this will not be shortlisted. We value substance over presentation.
