We're Hiring | Manager - Global Supply Chain Management (SCM) | Gurugram
Experience: 8+ years in SCM / Logistics (with team handling experience)
We are looking for an experienced Manager – SCM to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, with a strong focus on international sourcing across Asian markets, building a resilient, cost-efficient supply network, and ensuring compliance.
What you'll drive:
End-to-End Planning: Lead demand forecasting and MRP to ensure raw material availability, with clear visibility into lead times and supply variability from international suppliers.
Sourcing & Vendor Development: Drive international sourcing and develop supplier partnerships across Asian markets for engineering goods and components, while managing risks related to quality, lead time, and external factors.
Logistics & Distribution: Oversee domestic and international logistics, including coordination with freight forwarders, customs clearance, FTWZ/bonded warehouses, and cold-chain requirements where applicable.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory considering extended import lead times; minimize expiry risks through FEFO/FIFO practices.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sourcing and import operations comply with medical device regulations, ISO standards, CDSCO requirements, and internal SOPs.
Vendor Management: Negotiate with global suppliers and logistics partners on pricing, MOQs, and SLAs. Manage supplier audits and corrective actions, both remotely and on-site.
Process Improvement: Identify supply chain bottlenecks, especially in cross-border procurement, and implement solutions to reduce lead times and landed costs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
8+ years in supply chain/logistics, with at least 3 years in people management. Prior experience in sourcing engineering goods or components from Asian markets is strongly preferred.
Background in IVD, medical devices, or other regulated industries is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Pharmacy (MBA preferred).
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), WMS, and international trade documentation, including import/export processes, HS codes, and customs exemptions.
Behavioral Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, particularly in complex cross-border environments.
