Global Physical Security Systems Specialist
About the Role
Enterprise Security Operations (SecOps) protects Liberty Mutual's people, workplaces, and critical assets through innovative physical security programs, enterprise technology, and operational excellence.
We're looking for a Physical Security Systems Specialist to help manage and improve the enterprise physical security technologies that protect Liberty Mutual's offices around the world. Based in India, you'll support our global office portfolio by administering, optimizing, and continuously improving the systems that help keep our people and workplaces secure.

Working closely with Enterprise Real Estate, Technology, Cybersecurity, and business partners, you'll help ensure our physical security platforms remain reliable, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs. While Enterprise Technology provides the underlying infrastructure and engineering support, this role serves as the technical subject matter expert within Enterprise Security Operations, responsible for enterprise platform administration, configuration, technical standards, lifecycle support, and driving improvements that make our systems easier to support and more effective for our users.

What You'll Do
Platform Administration & Operational Excellence
- Own the day-to-day administration and evolution of Liberty Mutual's enterprise physical security platforms, including access control, video management, visitor management, and related technologies.
- Monitor platform health, maintain system integrity, and ensure solutions remain reliable, secure, and available across our global office portfolio.
- Develop and maintain standards, documentation, and governance practices that promote consistency and scalability.
- Partner with Enterprise Technology to support upgrades, integrations, infrastructure changes, and platform lifecycle activities.
Continuous Improvement & Technology Enablement
- Look for better ways to manage our platforms by simplifying processes, automating repetitive work, and improving the experience for our users.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, database, networking, and application issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
- Stay current on new physical security technologies and recommend solutions that improve how we secure our workplaces.
- Leverage automation, scripting, reporting, APIs, and AI-assisted capabilities where appropriate to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Project Delivery & Business Partnership
- Support physical security technology projects associated with new offices, renovations, relocations, acquisitions, and enterprise initiatives.
- Partner with Real Estate, Enterprise Technology, vendors, and system integrators to deliver solutions that meet Liberty Mutual standards.
- Provide technical expertise during solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and operational handoff.
- Build trusted relationships across the organization and serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise physical security technologies.
Customer Experience & Collaboration
- Deliver responsive, high-quality support to internal customers and communicate clearly throughout the service lifecycle.
- Develop user documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources that help our stakeholders get the most from our technology.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on ownership, learning, and making things better every day.

- Visitor Management platforms
- Intercom and emergency communication systems
- SQL Server and enterprise databases
- REST APIs and enterprise system integrations
- ServiceNow
- Microsoft PowerShell and automation tools
- Microsoft 365 and Power Platform
- AI-assisted productivity tools
- Enterprise reporting and analytics
You'll also have opportunities to evaluate new technologies and help shape the future direction of our global physical security technology program.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Security Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years of experience.
- Experience administering enterprise physical security technologies in a complex, multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise access control and video management platforms, including Software House CCURE 9000 and Milestone XProtect or comparable systems.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, database, and application issues.
- Working knowledge of system integrations, enterprise technology environments, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Experience partnering with vendors, systems integrators, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
- Familiarity with SQL, PowerShell, APIs, automation, reporting, or similar technical capabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a global environment.
