About TELSUS Petroleum
TELSUS Petroleum is an Australian wholesale fuel and lubricants company focused on supplying high-quality petroleum products to commercial customers across Australia. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced industry professional to help drive our business growth, strengthen supplier partnerships and identify new market opportunities.
This is a remote role offering the opportunity to work closely with the leadership team and play a key role in shaping the future of the business.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and support business growth strategies for TELSUS Petroleum.
• Identify new sales opportunities and generate qualified leads across the fuel and lubricants sector.
• Research the Australian petroleum market and monitor competitor activity, pricing trends and industry developments.
• Identify potential customers, distributors, resellers and strategic business partners.
• Build relationships with fuel suppliers, lubricant manufacturers, traders and terminal operators.
• Research international sourcing opportunities, particularly within Singapore and other Asian fuel markets.
• Assist with supplier negotiations, product sourcing and commercial proposals.
• Prepare market intelligence reports and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and follow up on prospective business opportunities.
• Represent TELSUS Petroleum professionally when engaging with customers, suppliers and industry stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
• Experience in the fuel, petroleum, lubricants or energy industry.
• Strong understanding of the Australian fuel and lubricants market.
• Knowledge of international fuel trading or Asian petroleum markets will be highly regarded.
• Experience in business development, sales, procurement or commercial strategy.
• Strong communication, research and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
