About the Role
White Bull Global is looking for a curious and research-driven Ph.D. professional who can identify emerging developments in global health, nutrition and food science—and translate them into commercially relevant product ideas.
This is not a conventional laboratory position. The role sits at the intersection of scientific research, product innovation, R&D coordination and brand development.
The selected candidate will continuously study global health data, scientific literature, clinical research, emerging ingredients and consumer trends. They will convert these insights into clear presentations, evidence-based formulations and new product opportunities for our nutraceutical and functional-food portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor global developments in food science, nutrition, nutraceuticals, functional foods and healthy ageing
• Review and critically evaluate scientific papers, clinical trials, patents and health-related data
• Identify emerging ingredients, technologies, biological pathways and product categories
• Translate complex scientific findings into clear presentations, research summaries and actionable product concepts
• Develop evidence-based product concepts and scientific rationales for new formulations
• Coordinate with R&D, NPD, regulatory, quality, manufacturing and marketing teams
• Evaluate ingredient efficacy, dosage, safety, compatibility and quality of supporting evidence
• Support the development of scientifically accurate product claims and communication
• Study successful global health and wellness brands, products and category trends
• Help transform scientific innovation into differentiated, commercially viable products
• Build and maintain an internal database of research, ingredients, clinical evidence and global trends
• Present new opportunities and recommendations to the leadership team
Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Nutraceutical Science, Biotechnology or a closely related discipline
• Strong understanding of research methodology and scientific literature evaluation
• Ability to interpret clinical studies, health data and technical information critically
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to simplify complex science and communicate it through professional presentations
• Strong coordination, analytical thinking and project-management abilities
• Good command of English and proficiency in scientific writing
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and scientific research databases
Preferred Experience
• Experience in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, functional foods or health-focused consumer products
• Knowledge of product formulation, ingredient evaluation and regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with global trends in healthy ageing, metabolic health, cognitive performance, gut health and preventive nutrition
• Experience working with cross-functional R&D, regulatory, marketing or brand teams
• Understanding of evidence-based claims and scientific product positioning
Relevant industry experience is preferred; however, exceptional fresh Ph.D. candidates with strong research, presentation and commercial-learning abilities are also encouraged to apply.
