Senior Backend Engineer

Senior Backend Engineer Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure that powers our innovative products. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable, high-performance, and reliable backend systems using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, mobile, and DevOps) to ensure seamless integration and delivery - Optimize database schemas and query performance - Implement secure and efficient RESTful APIs - Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment - Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your expertise and best practices - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and introduce improvements to our tech stack Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB - Strong understanding of software design patterns, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture - Proficient in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code - Familiar with agile software development methodologies and tooling - Experience with containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
