<div>Glass Court Swim & Fitness is hiring a <strong>Full-Time Aquatics Director</strong> to lead a high-visibility aquatics department with <strong>both an indoor and outdoor pool (each 6 lanes, 20 yards)</strong>. This is a leadership role responsible for <strong>pool safety, water quality, staffing, scheduling, and aquatics program growth</strong> (swim lessons, open swim, lap swim, clinics, rentals, and seasonal outdoor programming).<br><br>
</div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><ul>
<li>Lead <strong>daily pool operations</strong> for indoor and outdoor pools (6-lane, 20-yard each)</li>
<li>Maintain <strong>water quality</strong>: testing, chemical handling, documentation, and corrective action</li>
<li>Ensure <strong>safety and compliance</strong> with health department and club standards; manage incident reporting</li>
<li>Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise <strong>swim instructors and lifeguards (if applicable)</strong>
</li>
<li>Build and manage aquatics schedules (lessons, lap swim, open swim, clinics, rentals, seasonal programming)</li>
<li>Improve lesson performance: <strong>fill rate, retention, conversions (trial → program → membership)</strong>
</li>
<li>Communicate professionally with parents/members; resolve issues and service recovery</li>
<li>Coordinate maintenance and vendors; drive <strong>preventive maintenance</strong> and minimize downtime</li>
<li>Track KPIs and reporting (Jonas experience preferred): utilization, revenue/hour, payroll vs revenue, incidents, compliance</li>
</ul><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><div><strong>Required</strong></div><ul>
<li>3+ years experience leading aquatics operations in a club, YMCA, swim school, or similar</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of <strong>pool operations, water chemistry, and safety procedures</strong>
</li>
<li>Proven leadership: hiring, training, scheduling, coaching staff</li>
<li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li>
<li>Comfortable with scheduling/reporting software (<strong>Jonas a plus</strong>)</li>
</ul><div><strong>Preferred</strong></div><ul>
<li>WSI (or equivalent) / swim instruction certification</li>
<li>CPR/AED/First Aid certification (instructor a plus)</li>
<li>Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) or lifeguard management experience (if applicable)</li>
