Role Description
We are seeking a full-time GIS Developer to join our team on-site in Chandigarh, India. The GIS Developer will be responsible for designing and developing GIS applications, implementing and maintaining geospatial systems, and providing support for Esri Utility Network Migration projects. Daily tasks include developing web mapping applications, working with ArcGIS Server, and ensuring seamless integration of GIS solutions with other enterprise systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business objectives will also be a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Web Mapping
- Proficiency in Software Development, including application coding and testing
- Experience with ArcGIS Server and related Esri technologies
- Knowledge of Esri Utility Network Migration is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, GIS, or a related field
- Prior experience in GIS development with utility or infrastructure companies is advantageous
