This leadership role is accountable for the totality of IT Infrastructure and Application Services (IAS) in the enterprise. Acts as a strategic interface at the GIA India location. Ensuring corporate technology standards and
solutions are adhered to and leveraged in support of GIA India business goals. Lead the IT infrastructure operations and application development teams in India.
Responsible for service delivery of approved technology
initiatives. Through constructive relationships with both GIA U.S. and India’s business leadership and management, this position will be responsible for developing and managing the local IT Project Portfolio and
processes; aspects of which include; capturing internal customer needs, identifying solution options, ensuring the technology infrastructure and services are aligned with enterprise standards and meet internal customer
requirements.
Works directly with GIA India leadership to identify and address emerging technology needs; work collaboratively with other GIA India departments and IT Leadership to develop standards aligned technology solutions.

Partners with GIA India and IT Leadership to develop and implement GIA’s Information technology strategic plan.
□
Provides a communication bridge between IT Leadership and GIA India management team that fosters an environment of information sharing, camaraderie, and team engagement.
□
Develops and implements GIA India technology plan for Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Planning Support.
□
Analyzes and validates the GIA India business requirements for the specific application(s) requested.
□
Documents proposed changes to the requirements and solutions to enable impact analysis, revision of business case, specifications, budgets, timescales and plans for authorization.
□
Serves as a SIS/ERP Architectural liaison; Working on behalf of Enterprise Architecture considering business, reporting, and customer needs, upstream and downstream impacts, and providing business with important information that will allow fully informed decisions to be made.

Participates in all GIA India technology solutions discovery, or brainstorming, discussions related to potential projects or enhancement requests.
□
Attends all regular GIA India meetings when business process, systems, and technology are reviewed for possible updates and/or revisions.
□
Attends IT and GIA India strategy sessions to stay up to date with current project portfolio, priorities, and future strategic initiatives.
□
Attends GIA India business process or policy-change meetings to analyze and advise the potential impacts from an SIS and project priority standpoint.
□
Gathers all compliance/licensure requirements to ensure alignment with business
infrastructure.
Conducts periodic business and IT stakeholder meetings to review project status and opportunities for improvement.
□
Conducts post-implementation reviews with business and IT stakeholders to identify lessons learned.
□
Facilitates the designs, creation, testing and documentation of new and amended systems and programs from supplied functional specifications in accordance with agreed standards , in conjunction with other functional areas within IT.

Gathers, documents and maintains the necessary information to enable the project team (business and IT staff) to undertake projects and deliver successfully
□
Works with GIA India and IT staff to enable, through user acceptance testing, a successful implementation of the solution.
□
Leads and may champion change management activities; viz; communication to internal customers about the change and impact of the change, advocacy, and mitigation of resistance.
□
Identifies and classifies application related problems. Performs root-cause analysis for application related problems.
□
Attends industry and trade conferences to maintain up to date knowledge of current and future applications and technology solutions.
□
Oversees negotiate favorable IT contracts and purchases and asset refresh.
□
Ensures business SLAs are met on IT service delivery.
