Vice President of Engineering

Hiring for a fast growing B2B SAAS product company into marketing & engagement platform for customer experience. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable software architectures
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead diverse teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS and DevOps practices
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal into technical strategies.
   

Responsibilities: 

• Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of our MERN stack-based platform.
• Mentor and support the professional development of team members through coaching, performance reviews, and career development plans.
• Oversee the architectural design and ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the platform.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise on MERN stack technologies (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design teams to plan, prioritize, and execute product roadmaps.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance systems and architectures to support the growth of the platform.
• Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance the platform's scalability and performance.
