Vice President of Engineering

Hiring for a fast growing B2B SAAS product company into marketing & engagement platform for customer experience. Job Title: Vice President of Engineering Experience Range: 6 - 11 years Location: Gurgaon Skills Required: MERN , AWS, Kafka Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in software development, with 2+ years in a leadership role. Strong proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable software architectures. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead diverse teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS and DevOps practices Strong communication skills, both written and verbal into technical strategies. Responsibilities: Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of our MERN stack-based platform. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team. Mentor and support the professional development of team members through coaching, performance reviews, and career development plans. Oversee the architectural design and ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the platform. Provide technical guidance and expertise on MERN stack technologies (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). Advocate for best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation. Collaborate with Product Management and Design teams to plan, prioritize, and execute product roadmaps. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risks to ensure successful project completion. Design and implement scalable, high-performance systems and architectures to support the growth of the platform. Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance the platform's scalability and performance. Work closely with other departments, such as Product, Sales, and Customer Support, to align engineering efforts with business goals. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, technical challenges, and opportunities
