About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for the Patient Access Platform.
- Design scalable, secure, cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS solutions.
- Lead platform modernization, performance optimization, scalability, and reliability initiatives.
- Establish engineering standards, architecture best practices, and technical governance.
- Drive adoption of microservices, event-driven architecture, API-first design, and cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor technical leaders and engineers through architecture reviews and technical guidance.
- Promote engineering excellence, automation, observability, and AI-assisted development practices.
Required Skills
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience building distributed systems, microservices, and enterprise SaaS applications.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Kafka/event-driven architecture, PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis.
- Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and observability.
- Solid understanding of system scalability, performance tuning, security, and OWASP best practices.
- Proven technical leadership, architecture design, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery experience.
Preferred
- Experience in Healthcare SaaS, Patient Access, or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Exposure to AI-enabled products or AI-assisted software development.
- Experience with enterprise workflow platforms, analytics, or data engineering is a plus.
