Senior Backend Developer - GTD - BLR

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in data structures and algorithms.
• At least 3+ years of experience working in product companies.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in backend development.
• Expertise in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or GoLang.
• Hands-on experience with various data stores (SQL, NoSQL) and queuing systems.
• Extensive experience in backend architecture, system design, distributed systems, and microservices development.
• Familiarity with application logging and monitoring systems like Prometheus.
• Ability to enhance backend system performance.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and web development principles.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
• Passion for learning new technologies and delivering exceptional products.

Responsibilities

• Design and build services and platforms to high-quality standards.
• Understand, follow, and contribute to software development lifecycle standards.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams to deliver efficient, maintainable, and well-tested software solutions.
• Partner with product and business teams to understand customer journeys and solve critical growth challenges.
• Lead the architectural design of microservices for new and existing systems, ensuring accurate time estimates and delivery. Work with cloud infrastructures such as GCP and AWS.
• Drive product and design discussions, contributing innovative solutions.
• Mentor team members to elevate technical skills and expertise.
• Take ownership of functional areas from product conception to delivery, ensuring comprehensive documentation, high code quality, and sufficient unit test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, create technical specifications, and collaborate closely with team members.
