SDET 2- GTD - BLR

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Web and API automation using Cypress and Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Implement and enhance test suites using Selenium and RestAssured with Java.
• Build and execute automated mobile tests using Appium for iOS and Android platforms.
• Conduct database testing using SQL & NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and        PostgreSQL.
• Design and develop robust automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring modularity, reusability, and scalability across teams.
• Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on testability and quality.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring best practices in test automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment from requirement analysis to deployment.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years in test automation with hands-on expertise in Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
• Frameworks: Proven experience in designing and implementing custom test automation frameworks.
• Languages: Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript and Java.
• Mobile Automation: Hands-on experience with Appium for iOS and Android test automation.
• API Testing: Expertise in API testing using tools like RestAssured.
• Databases: Experience in working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for database testing and validation.
• CI/CD: Proficiency in Jenkins and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
