Performance Test Engineer

Hiring for a b2b product company based out in Chennai.  

As a Senior Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automation.

Performance test engineer:

• 4-6 years of experience in performance engineering and testing.
• Proficiency in using JMeter or K6 for performance testing.
• Strong experience with profiling tools (e.g., Jprofilier, YourKit, VisualVM, Dynatrace, New Relic).
• Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
   

Preferred Skills for performance test engineer:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and performance testing in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tool integration.
