Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in HVAC design to handle end-to-end engineering activities across commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The candidate should be capable of independently managing design, calculations, and documentation in compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC systems including chilled water, DX, VRF, ventilation, andexhaust systems.
- Perform heat load calculations using industry-standard software (HAP, TRACE, etc.).
- Prepare detailed HVAC layouts, equipment schedules, and technical specifications.
- Select equipment such as AHUs, chillers, VRF units, pumps, and fans based on project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, and other relevant standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection teams.
- Support BIM coordination and integration of HVAC systems in Revit MEP/AutoCAD.
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical meetings with consultants and clients.
- Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and technical reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-8 years of proven experience in HVAC system design and execution.
- Strong knowledge of load calculation software (HAP, TRACE, or similar).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and Revit MEP (preferred).
- Knowledge of international codes and green building standards (LEED/IGBC) will be and advantage.
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
