Job Title: Sr Data QA Engineer
 

Department: Data & Insights
 

Location: Remote (Bengaluru / Chennai)
 

Experience Range: 5 - 7 years
 

Responsibilities:

 

• Work with Data Analysts and Data Engineers to develop test plans and strategies
• Create and document manual and automated test cases
• Execute tests in a timely fashion
• Prepare detailed reports from test executions
• Coordinate defect management; Work with the intake and product team to resolve issues
• Responsible for the preparation of test data
• Provide regular communication of project status and issues requiring escalation
• Demonstrate technical leadership and consultation with regards to quality practices,
  procedures and techniques
• Develop and build automation frameworks and tests for regression test suites
• Learn and absorb new technologies quickly
• Be a strong team player and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands
  
   

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant technology experience
• 5+ years of writing medium to moderate complexity SQLs to analyze data
• 5+ years of experience with Snowflake
• 5+ years of experience with BigQuery
• 2+ years of experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience with Jupyter Notebooks
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple, competing deliverables
