We are assisting our client, a prominent student housing platform, known for simplifying the accommodation search and booking process for university students, to find an exceptional finance leader.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with over 8 years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 4 years in a senior financial leadership role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in corporate finance and managing investor relations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and manage the organization’s financial plans, including annual budgets and financial reporting.
• Handle cash management and daily accounting operations, maintaining strong internal controls.
• Act as the point of contact for investors and ensure precise and timely financial reporting.
• Drive best practices in fiscal responsibility, project oversight, and collaboration across departments.
• Review company liabilities, optimize capital structures, and spearhead capital-raising initiatives.
• Oversee cash flow management, implement treasury controls, and manage both internal and external audits.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team to ensure their continued professional development.
