Staff Engineer - Frontend | GSK

We’re hiring on behalf of our Client, a Leading Global Cloud Security Company

Role Overview:

We're looking for a talented Frontend developer who has a strong foundation in Javascript with React framework.

Location: Bangalore
Work mode: Hybrid
Experience: 5-7 years

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (a Master’s degree is highly preferred).
• 5-7 years of experience in front-end development, with recent roles focusing on this domain.
• Proficiency in React (mandatory), TypeScript, and CSS.
• Experience with reviewing product requirement documents and work scoping/capacity planning.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a global team through Slack and Zoom.

Responsibilities:

• Design & Innovate: Develop new, impactful features for a web-based security application, delivering seamless and secure user experiences.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to ensure a cohesive, end-to-end product experience. 
• Our client fosters a collaborative environment where engineers take ownership of the entire codebase.
• Code with Excellence: Write clean, maintainable, and high-performing frontend code, and contribute to code reviews to uphold quality and functionality.
• Cross-Functional Impact: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver best-in-class features that add value to a growing global product.
• Agile Teamwork: Participate in daily standups to prioritize tasks, address blockers, and work as a team to meet deadlines and deliver impact to customers worldwide.
