Quantitative Trader

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, backtest, and deploy high-frequency trading strategies in NSE/BSE markets.
• Analyze large datasets to identify market inefficiencies and trading opportunities.
• Optimize execution algorithms to minimize transaction costs and maximize profitability.
• Monitor and manage real-time trading performance, ensuring strategies are aligned with market conditions.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, developers, and other traders to enhance trading systems and strategies.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the Indian equity and derivatives space.
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with trading limits and firm-wide risk management policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
• Experience: 2-10 years of experience in quantitative trading, algorithmic trading, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling.
• Experience with backtesting frameworks and trading platforms.
• Familiarity with NSE/BSE trading systems and market microstructure is a plus.
