Role Description The GET – Purchase role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur. The role involves supporting the purchase department in day-to-day activities such as preparing and processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records of procurement transactions, and coordinating with vendors for timely delivery of materials and services. The position includes assisting in supplier evaluation, comparing quotations, and ensuring adherence to company purchasing policies and quality standards. The GET – Purchase will collaborate with internal teams to understand material requirements, track inventory levels, and help optimize purchasing costs and timelines. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to industrial procurement and develop strong foundational skills in purchase management.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchasing to handle procurement activities effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Purchase Orders to manage vendor relationships and documentation.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to compare quotes, evaluate suppliers, and support cost-effective decisions.
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Management, or a related discipline (fresh graduates or early-career professionals are welcome).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn ERP or procurement software.
- Ability to work on-site in Tiruppur and adapt to a dynamic industrial environment.
