Role Description The GET – Production role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur. The Graduate Engineer Trainee will support day-to-day production activities, including monitoring plant operations, assisting in production planning, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet daily targets. The role involves learning and applying standard operating procedures, supporting quality checks, and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance guidelines. The trainee will assist senior engineers with data collection, reporting, and process optimization initiatives. The position offers structured on-the-job training, exposure to industrial water treatment processes, and opportunities to develop into a production management role.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Production Planning and Production Management, with the ability to understand workflows, resource allocation, and process efficiency.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including basic testing, documentation, and adherence to standards and compliance requirements.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with production teams, maintenance staff, and management, and for preparing clear reports and updates.
- Interest in Training and continuous learning, with the ability to absorb technical guidance and support knowledge transfer within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of water or wastewater treatment processes, industrial operations, or utilities is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in an industrial environment, follow safety protocols, and manage time effectively under shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with data entry, analysis, and reporting.
