About the role
JOB SUMMARY:
Assist the manager in completing all necessary jobs involving SAP, part ordering, and KPI’s. Also being able to assist the maintenance team when needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists the Manager in daily activities and work assignments of the team.
- Assists in the development of work instructions, training on processes.
- Completes all necessary steps in SAP (PM, Workorders, Service Calls.)
- Keeps up with weekend plans for press maintenance.
- Keeps up with KPI’s for Press Maintenance
- Order parts through Ariba and add stock to the MRO
- Assists overall employee/team development strategies through training and performance measurement.
- Other related activities as related to the scope of the position.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager and/or Group Leaders.
- Actively participate in and help to design and develop preventative maintenance programs.
- Assist Group Leaders in PM implementation and monthly completion.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Leader of 5S principles
- Able to stay on task without having to be led.
- Thorough knowledge of the equipment of the press shop.
- Must have experience with PC-based systems including Microsoft applications.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts when needed.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to take detailed instructions and implement safety and quality procedures.
- Must have excellent people and communication skills as well as analytical skills.
- Must have good attendance record with no disciplinary action or unauthorized absenteeism.
- Must have the ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Any previous leadership experience is a plus.
