Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site German Tutor based in Kochi. The German Tutor will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons to students at various proficiency levels, including A1 to B2, helping them prepare for exams, visa interviews, and improving conversational fluency. Additional responsibilities include developing lesson plans aligned with our curriculum, monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a supportive learning environment to encourage language development and confidence in spoken and written German.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in German language teaching, with expertise in levels A1–B2
- Strong skills in lesson preparation, curriculum development, and instructional delivery
- Experience and competency in mentoring, providing constructive feedback, and student progress monitoring
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to create a supportive learning environment
- Familiarity with learning materials, including Klett resources, is an advantage
- Prior experience teaching German is highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in German or related field; certification in German language teaching (e.g., Goethe-Institut certification) is a plus
