Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi for a German Language Trainer. The trainer will conduct interactive German language classes for learners at various proficiency levels, following structured curricula aligned with recognized language standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering classroom sessions, assigning and reviewing exercises, and assessing learner progress through tests and feedback. The role also involves creating or adapting teaching materials, supporting learners in exam preparation, and maintaining an engaging, inclusive classroom environment. Collaboration with the wider team to align language training with migration and study-abroad requirements is an integral part of this position.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with a focus on German as a foreign language.
- Candidates should possess competent Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, outcome-oriented learning experiences.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Literature and cultural aspects of German-speaking countries to enrich classroom discussions.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, including clear spoken and written German and English.
- Relevant academic background in German language, Education, Linguistics, or related fields; certification in German (e.g., Goethe-Institut levels) is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience teaching German in classroom or training center settings is preferred, along with the ability to work with diverse learner profiles.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, patience, and a learner-focused approach to support consistent progress.
