• Your German is C1 minimum—you teach confidently across all four skills to B2 standard
• You have 3+ years of teaching German to adult learners in a structured institutional setting
• You know CEFR and can navigate Goethe-Institut or TELC exam standards from a delivery perspective
Role Description Clear
This is a full-time, on-site role for a German language trainer located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The German language trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality language instruction to students, developing and implementing effective lesson plans, and nurturing learners’ language skills. The role also includes creating engaging materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to help them achieve language proficiency.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Language Teaching and Lesson Planning
- Experience with Teaching and Education in a structured learning environment
- Knowledge and understanding of Literature, particularly German language and culture
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
- Proficiency in spoken and written German
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Languages, or related field
- Formal certification in German language (such as B2, C1, or equivalent) is a strong advantage
