Role Description The German Language Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging online lessons up to level B2, focusing on speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans and materials, conducting live virtual classes, assigning and reviewing homework, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will adapt teaching methods to different proficiency levels and learning styles, support learners in exam preparation when needed, and contribute to continuous improvement of the curriculum and resources. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability, professional communication, and collaboration with the wider teaching team.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong German Teaching and Tutoring skills, with proven ability to guide learners up to B2 level.
- Candidates should possess solid Teaching and Education skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and learner assessment.
- Candidates should possess Training experience, with the ability to coach learners, facilitate practice, and support skill development.
- Advanced proficiency in German (minimum C1 level) and excellent command of English for instruction and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; formal teaching certification or relevant training is an advantage.
- Experience teaching German online or in hybrid formats, with familiarity using digital teaching tools and learning platforms.
- Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centered, inclusive teaching approach.
- Reliable internet connection, comfort with remote work, and ability to manage a full-time teaching schedule across potential time zones.
