Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer with expertise in rock anchors and ground anchoring systems. The role involves design, documentation, coordination, and on-site support for geotechnical solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and best engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and review detailed design reports for rock anchors in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
· Develop design documents for ground anchoring systems, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
· Produce anchor layout drawings, and related engineering documentation like method statements and test plan.
· Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for geotechnical and anchoring works.
· Coordinate and supervise anchor testing activities at project sites, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
· Provide technical guidance and make engineering recommendations based on the latest geotechnical engineering practices and innovations.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
· Proven experience in design and execution of rock anchors and ground anchoring systems.
· Proficiency in geotechnical design software and CAD tools.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Attributes
· Experience in infrastructure, tunnelling, slope stabilization, or foundation engineering projects.
· Familiarity with anchor testing procedures and field instrumentation.
Work Environment
· Combination of office-based design work and occasional site visits for inspections, testing, and coordination.
