📢 Hiring: Geotechnical Engineer | Integrated Steel Plant Project | Gadchiroli, Maharashtra
We are looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer (5–10 years) to join a major Integrated Steel Plant project at Hedri, Gadchiroli. This is a full-time, site-based role offering the opportunity to work on large-scale industrial infrastructure.
🔍 Role Overview
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising geotechnical investigations, slope stability works, and ground improvement activities, ensuring compliance with IS codes and project specifications.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
• Conduct and supervise geotechnical investigations (SPT, CPT, boreholes, plate load tests)
• Prepare geotechnical reports, bore logs, and subsurface profiles
• Perform slope stability analysis (GeoStudio / PLAXIS) and implement protection systems
• Design and supervise ground improvement (PVD, stone columns, dynamic compaction, stabilization)
• Support foundation design (shallow & deep foundations, pile testing, settlement analysis)
• Monitor field instrumentation (inclinometers, piezometers, settlement plates)
• Ensure QA/QC compliance with IS codes and HSE standards
• Prepare progress reports and maintain technical documentation
🎓 Requirements
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Geotechnical preferred)
• 5–10 years’ experience in geotechnical/site engineering
• Experience in steel plants, heavy industry, mining, or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in GeoStudio / PLAXIS / AutoCAD
