Job Responsibilities :

The role holder is required to integrate different sets of geoscientific data to perform regional scale basin/play evaluation and Petroleum System Analysis. Build 1D, 2D and 3D Petroleum System models. As a member of the exploration team, the person should adapt in a collaborative environment and deliver geoscientific analysis to other business units/ operational assets.

• Provide a detailed and focussed regional geological framework understanding using all available data including geological field data, geochemical data, seismic data and other relevant data
• Build tectono-stratigraphic framework
• Interpret seismic data to create geological cross section, well correlation and gross depositional frameworks
• Conduct petroleum system analysis including source rock distribution, maturation and charge model
• Heat Flow and Pore Pressure modelling
  
  
  

Education Requirement : Masters degree in Geology Experience Requirement :

• 1-2 years experience preferred
• Exposure of building 1D models for Heat Flow, Pore Pressure and Source Rock Maturity
• Exposure to hydrogeology and organic geochemistry would be preferred
• Hands on experience with ArcGIS
• Exposure on Data Analytics would be advantageous
  
  
  

Skills & Competencies :

• Knowledge on tectonics, sedimentology, geochemistry & structural geology
• Fair understanding on regional source rock deposition in different tectonic settings
• Basic concept on heat flow and pore pressure.
• Technical writing and communication skill
• Adaptability to handle diverse projects and mandates
• Collaborative, self-motivated and flexible team player
