Role Background:
We are looking for a passionate and committed Geography Teacher for Senior School(Class 7-10) who has a strong understanding of the subject and a genuine passion for teaching. The ideal candidate should be able to understand and effectively implement the school’s unique pedagogy, making Geography engaging, conceptual, and connected to real-world experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) in Geography (preferred)
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
Experience:
- Prior experience of at least 1-3 years in the role of Geography teacher for the relevant grades (preferably in CISCE board, CBSE board may also be accepted)
- Freshers with required qualifications and skills can also be considered.

- Planning the curriculum and lesson plans.
- Implementing progressive teaching methods to foster meaningful learning.
- Understanding and guiding student behaviour through positive guidance techniques.
- Conducting ongoing assessment methods to gauge and support student learning.
- Engaging in parent communication, collaboration and education for a two-way school-home partnership.
- Collaborating with other teachers for developing a well-coordinated and high quality system.
- Reflecting on teaching and gaining new knowledge through various professional development opportunities.
- Contributing to whole school activities such as events, celebrations, extra-curricular projects, etc.
