Job details:
To deliver engaging, inquiry-based Geography lessons aligned with IB philosophy, fostering global awareness and critical thinking among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach Geography as per IB MYP/DP frameworks.
- Design unit planners with concepts, global contexts, and ATL skills.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments using IB criteria.
- Support MYP Assessments / DP Internal Assessments (IA).
- Encourage research, fieldwork, and use of GIS/digital tools.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in IB meetings, training, and school activities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Geography
- 3–5 years teaching experience (IB preferred)
- IB training/workshop (preferred)
Key Skills:
- Inquiry-based teaching
- Strong communication & classroom management
- Knowledge of IB assessment
- Tech-enabled teaching skills
