Role Description The Geography Educator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The educator will design and deliver engaging geography lessons, aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom instruction, assessing student learning, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves using diverse teaching methods, integrating real-world geographic issues, and encouraging critical thinking and inquiry. The Geography Educator will also participate in staff meetings, parent interactions, and school events, contributing to interdisciplinary projects and overall academic development.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with demonstrated experience in classroom instruction for geography or related social sciences.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Training skills to explain complex concepts clearly and support student learning and development.
- Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning abilities to create structured, age-appropriate, and engaging geography lessons.
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geography, Education, or a related field.
- Experience with student assessment, curriculum implementation, and classroom management.
- Ability to integrate technology and experiential learning into geography teaching.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy and continuous professional development.
