Lead Consultant, Java Back end Engineer

The senior java engineer role is responsible integrating Loan Approval system to other services across the rich ecosystem. We work closely with other experts to build evolving requirements into the application, to stay accurate and regulatory compliant. You will join a cross-functional squad and work with colleagues in Dublin, Amsterdam, Manila and further afield. Responsibilities • Create, develop and support advanced business applications within Wholesale Banking • Collaborate with your team to understand business requirements and together translate them into the solution • Search and propose solutions using the newest technologies. Help your team grow and think of ways to make solutions scalable and future-proof • Ensure code quality and maintainability by thorough testing, tackling technological debt, conducting code reviews, and refactoring • You continuously improve your skills to adapt to new situations, and always deliver the highest quality results • You have a pro-active attitude; you speak up about your ideas and like working with a team Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills • BTECH Preferred Skills • Kafka Connect, Schema registry Experience. • Kafka Streaming, Lending Business • Observability Experience (Grafana, Kibana, Elastic..) • Oracle golden gate.
