Position Overview

The primary role of the Sales Operations Specialist (SOS) is to support the Commercial and Revenue organizations with various tasks, including managing several internal sales-oriented processes and SLAs. The SOS will work closely with the existing sales operations, marketing, sales, and account management teams – along with leaders throughout the organization – to enable Sales processes. The SOS is responsible for assisting and supporting optimizations which impact the company's sales team by managing data, analyzing performance, executing processes, and ensuring efficient use of tools and resources to improve overall sales performance through phone, email, fax, social media, and other channels to internal and external customers.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Quickly but thoroughly learn the pharmacogenetics space and Genomind’s value propositions to ensure a high-level of competency when selling its unique benefits to potential prescribing practices
  • Manage internal databases and execute updates to facilitate the sales cycle with consultation from sales operations, account managers, regional sales managers, and area directors
  • Communicate industry updates to new and existing accounts, including new product announcements, insurance plan changes, upcoming events, and other key information
  • Manage multiple inbound lead channels including, but not limited to web and chat leads
  • Utilize Salesforce.com and ActiveCampaign (as needed) to effectively document and track performance
  • Adhere to best practices for task follow-up, and documentation of all activity
  • Ensure internal documentation is completed accurately and within appropriate timeframes (SLAs)
  • Meet (and exceed) SLAs for moving parts of the business to facilitate sales cycle continuity
  • Operate at the highest ethical standard during every internal and external customer interaction and in alignment with Genomind’s core values


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of or experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry desired
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive spirit, with customer-focused attitude
  • Proven ability to work within the structure of business processes
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to uncover pain points and identify optimizations

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 2-3 years of inside or sales development, sales support, or sales operations experience
  • Clinical experience desired, but not required


Compensation

  • In addition to a base salary, this position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
