Position Summary
The Genesee Early College teacher is responsible for leading the instructional program and implementing activities for high school students. The teacher serves as an instructional and decision-making member of the Genesee Early College team and is responsible for meeting the unique needs of students in the assigned area.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Valid Michigan secondary teacher certificate with major or minor in area to which assigned required.
- Must meet requirements for highly qualified teachers as specified in No Child Left Behind.
- Master’s degree in content area preferred.
- Three or more years of successful teaching experience with diverse, underserved high school students preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $46,600.00 - $90,934.00 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Work Schedule: 186 days / 7 hours daily
Paid Time Off:
- Sick days - 10
- Personal Business days - 3
- Bereavement Leave
