Position Summary
The Coordinator for the Mobile Education Lab (MEL) bus will be responsible for marketing, promoting, scheduling, staffing and coordinating all events related to the MEL bus for Genesee County school districts. The coordinator will work in collaboration with districts to provide materials and supplies for events if needed, as well as access to educational and community supports, services, and resources for parents, families and students in Genesee County. They will work in coordination with transportation, maintenance and education and learning to order materials, support programming, as well as ensure a safe and well-maintained bus for students and schools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in life skills, child development, home economics, social work, counseling, or a related educational field required. Master degree preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience working with students and parents in a school setting required. Five (5) years preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: Compensation based on education and experience
Work Schedule: Part-time/ Limited-Duration Grant-Funded Position, Up to 25 hours per week.
