We're hiring a small number of exceptional full-stack engineers to build GenAI products at Upcar. Mid to senior. In-person, Hyderabad.
What you'll do Ship AI-powered products end to end. Models, backend, frontend, evals, infra — whatever it takes. You'll work directly with founders/leadership, move fast, and own what you build.
What we're looking for
- You've built and shipped real things. Side projects, startups, open source, production systems — we care about output, not pedigree.
- Fluent across the stack. You can take an idea to a working product without waiting for someone else.
- Deep, hands-on experience with LLMs: RAG, agents, evals, prompting, fine-tuning. You know what actually works vs. what's hype.
- Strong taste. You make good decisions about what to build, what to cut, and when something's good enough.
- Bias to action. You'd rather ship and iterate than plan for weeks.
Nice to have
- Track record contributing to open source or building things people use
- Experience taking a product from 0 to 1
- Strong fundamentals in ML/systems/distributed compute
