Role Overview
NR Consulting is looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Generative AI Engineer to join our technology team in Noida. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building AI-powered applications using Large Language Models, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI agents, APIs, vector databases, and modern cloud-based AI platforms.
This role requires someone who can design, develop, test, and deploy Generative AI solutions that solve real business problems, improve operational efficiency, automate workflows, and enhance user experience across internal and client-facing applications.
The candidate should be comfortable working at the intersection of software engineering, machine learning, data, automation, and business process transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models, AI APIs, and modern AI frameworks.
Build AI-powered applications, chatbots, copilots, automation tools, document intelligence systems, and intelligent workflow solutions.
Develop and optimize prompts, prompt chains, AI workflows, and structured output mechanisms for reliable business use cases.
Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions using vector databases, embeddings, document processing pipelines, and knowledge repositories.
Work with LLM platforms and APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or similar AI services.
Build backend services, APIs, and integration layers to connect AI models with business applications, databases, CRMs, ERPs, ATS systems, and internal platforms.
Design and implement AI agents capable of performing task-based workflows, data retrieval, summarization, classification, recommendation, and decision-support activities.
Process and structure large volumes of documents, emails, resumes, reports, contracts, policies, and business data for AI-driven automation.
Collaborate with product owners, business teams, developers, data teams, and leadership to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable AI solutions.
Evaluate AI model performance, accuracy, hallucination risk, response quality, latency, cost, and security considerations.
Create testing frameworks and validation processes for AI outputs, including human-in-the-loop review where required.
Ensure AI solutions follow data privacy, security, compliance, responsible AI, and access control standards.
Support deployment, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of AI applications.
Stay updated with emerging AI tools, frameworks, model capabilities, and best practices to bring innovation into NR Consulting’s technology ecosystem.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models, prompt engineering, and AI application development.
Experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, AWS Bedrock, or similar model providers.
Good understanding of RAG architecture, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and document retrieval systems.
Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, Weaviate, Milvus, or similar platforms.
Strong programming experience in Python and familiarity with backend development.
Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI orchestration tools.
Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, databases, and application integration.
Experience in working with structured and unstructured data, including PDFs, Word documents, Excel files, emails, web content, and business records.
Ability to design prompts for summarization, classification, extraction, reasoning, search, content generation, and workflow automation.
Understanding of model evaluation, prompt testing, response validation, hallucination control, and AI safety practices.
Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and solution-design skills.
Good communication skills with the ability to understand business needs and explain AI solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Experience building AI chatbots, enterprise copilots, AI agents, resume screening tools, document automation systems, or workflow automation platforms.
Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, NLP, transformers, fine-tuning, model evaluation, and data pipelines.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
Exposure to frontend technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
Experience with enterprise systems such as ATS, CRM, ERP, HRMS, VMS, workforce management platforms, or recruitment technology tools.
Understanding of data security, access control, encryption, PII handling, and responsible AI governance.
Experience in building scalable and production-ready AI applications.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in AI, cloud computing, machine learning, or Generative AI will be an added advantage.
