AI Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for an AI Engineer to build and enhance AI-powered chatbot systems. You will work on LLM integrations, conversational AI workflows, and backend services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI/ML features for chatbot applications
- Integrate with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI APIs (chat completions, tool calling, embeddings)
- Build conversational flows and intelligent automation workflows
- Design scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Implement prompt engineering and context management
- Work with databases for session management and analytics
- Write tests and maintain code quality
- Support cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines
Required Qualifications
- Python: 3+ years professional experience
- LLM Integration: 2+ years experience with OpenAI APIs
- Chat completions and conversation handling
- Tool/function calling
- Prompt engineering
- Web Frameworks: Experience with FastAPI or Flask
- Databases: PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- APIs: RESTful API design and integration
- Version Control: Git and CI/CD workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Experience with enterprise integrations (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Background in conversational AI or chatbot development
