About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Generative AI Engineer to join our Professional Services team on a contract basis. This role involves building production-grade AI solutions for our global clients, working in a fast-paced and innovation-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing sophisticated AI applications, particularly in generative AI, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI systems that meet client requirements.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of AI services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technologies, including retrieval-augmented generation, multi-agent systems, and cloud-native architectures, contributing to transformative projects across various sectors.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of AWS production experience and 3 or more years specifically in Generative AI. Strong expertise in data engineering, ETL workflows, and cloud architecture is essential. Candidates should have proven experience delivering production AI solutions and be adept at client-facing roles within Agile environments. Relevant certifications, domain expertise in healthcare or finance, and contributions to open-source projects are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop production-ready Generative AI applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and integrate vector databases for semantic search capabilities.
- Create AI agents and orchestrate multi-agent systems to automate complex workflows and enhance AI functionalities.
- Implement prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and context management to optimize AI model outputs.
- Develop chatbots, conversational AI interfaces, and document automation solutions tailored to client needs.
- Design and implement serverless architectures utilizing AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
- Manage cloud infrastructure with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch, ensuring high availability and security.
- Develop REST APIs and real-time AI applications, incorporating best practices in API design and security.
- Build data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data, develop ETL/ELT workflows, and implement semantic search systems.
- Monitor and optimize model performance, latency, and operational costs, ensuring robust observability and data quality.
- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and document architecture and deployment processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, troubleshoot production AI systems, and continuously improve development and deployment practices.
