At Complaibridge, we are building AI-powered compliance automation products to simplify complex regulatory workflows for global companies. We’re looking for a Generative AI & Backend Engineer who can help us design and build intelligent systems that extract, process, and structure data from documents at scale.
What You’ll Work On
- Build LLM-powered pipelines for document understanding and information extraction
- Design and develop backend services using Python (FastAPI or Flask)
- Create and optimize APIs with async processing and scalable architectures
- Develop document processing systems for PDFs, scanned files, and images
- Implement OCR and parsing techniques for real-world, messy data
- Apply NLP techniques using spaCy and Hugging Face Transformers
- Engineer prompts and workflows for reliable LLM outputs
- Transform unstructured data into structured schemas for downstream use
- Work with JSON and databases (SQL/NoSQL) to manage and store processed data
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Python development experience
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Flask
- Solid understanding of APIs and asynchronous processing
- Experience in OCR and document parsing
- Familiarity with NLP tools like spaCy and Hugging Face
- Practical experience with prompt engineering and LLM pipelines
- Ability to design data schemas from unstructured inputs
- Experience working with JSON and databases (SQL or NoSQL)
Nice to Have
- Experience in document-heavy or compliance-related workflows
- Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, or embeddings
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Type: Part-Time / Freelance
- Location: Remote (India)
- Working Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM UK Time (mandatory overlap)
- Duration: Ongoing / project-based
