We’re Hiring: Generative AI / Agentic AI Engineer (LLM + RAG + Knowledge Graphs)
📍 Location: Kolkata / Hyderabad(Hybrid)

At Abacus Digital, we’re building next-generation AI systems, and we’re looking for talented engineers who can help us scale faster.
We are looking for a Generative AI / Agentic AI Engineer with hands-on experience in building and deploying AI systems across LLMs, RAG pipelines, knowledge graphs, and agentic workflows.
The role requires someone who can move from prototypes to production, design scalable architectures, and build intelligent systems that deliver real business value.
The ideal candidate combines strong backend engineering skills with a deep understanding of modern AI frameworks, tools, and system design.
Key Responsibilities
Must-Have:
- Strong Python + backend engineering
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and RAG systems
- Experience with APIs, data pipelines, and unstructured data
Good-to-Have (Differentiators):
- Knowledge Graphs (Neo4j, Cypher, RDF/SPARQL)
- Agent frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI)
- Hybrid search (Graph + Vector)
- LLM evaluation / optimization (RAGAS, prompt tuning, fine-tuning)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with knowledge graphs (Neo4j, Cypher, RDF/SPARQL)
- Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI
- Understanding of hybrid search (graph + vector systems)
- Experience with LLM evaluation tools such as RAGAS, prompt tuning, or fine-tuning
- Background in search systems, data engineering, or applied AI
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–8 years of experience in backend engineering, AI, or data-driven systems
- Strong Python and backend development experience
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI system design
- Experience working with APIs, data pipelines, and unstructured data
