Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Generalist role based in Bengaluru. The Generalist will support daily store and operations activities, including managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring a smooth try-and-buy and return experience for customers. Responsibilities include assisting with customer inquiries, maintaining product displays and quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on process improvements. The role also involves collecting feedback, identifying operational issues, and helping implement solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys varied responsibilities, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working closely with both operations and customer-facing teams.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage day-to-day operations, including inventory handling, order coordination, and basic data entry.
- Strong customer service skills, with the capacity to handle in-person and digital inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements.
- Comfort with using digital tools and platforms for order tracking, communication, and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and reliability in maintaining product quality, cleanliness, and store standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Previous experience in retail, operations, logistics, or customer support is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru and maintain a schedule consistent with full-time retail or operations roles.
