Role Description The General Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care, including evaluating patients, diagnosing conditions, and performing a wide range of surgical procedures. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-operative assessments, managing post-operative care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also involves participating in clinical meetings, adhering to evidence-based practices, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring active involvement in emergency and scheduled surgeries, as well as mentoring junior medical staff when needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core clinical skills in Medicine and Surgery.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery for handling diverse surgical cases.
- Candidates should possess skills in Ophthalmology for managing basic eye-related surgical interventions as needed.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with specialization in General Surgery (MS or equivalent), along with valid medical registration.
- Proven experience as a General Surgeon in a hospital setting, with competence in emergency and elective procedures.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical medical practice, and continuous professional development.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call duties, as required by hospital operations.
