Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have MBBS, MS, and DNB qualifications, with comprehensive training in surgical procedures and experience in preoperative and postoperative care. The General Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing patient conditions, recommending treatment plans, and performing surgeries to treat injuries, diseases, and deformities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Examine and evaluate patients to diagnose conditions that may require surgical intervention.
- Surgical Procedures: Perform a variety of surgeries including emergency and elective surgeries across general surgery disciplines, such as appendectomy, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, and trauma surgeries.
- Patient Management: Oversee patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring high standards of care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative stages.
- Consultation and Coordination: Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including anaesthetists, nurses, and specialists, to develop treatment plans.
- Follow-up Care: Provide postoperative care, follow-up consultations, and manage any complications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Emergency Services: Be available for on-call duties, responding promptly to emergency surgical cases.
- Quality Control: Participate in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and DNB
