Description
The primary responsibility of the Circuit Driver is to ensure work in process parts flow to the next process in a productive manner as soon as they become available for movement. Responsibilities may include:
- Physically merging, loading, moving component parts and raw material
- Accurately entering inventory transactions into the ERP system
- Properly labeling all product as it moves throughout the production floor
- Moving maintenance, tooling and repair items to the work center
- Picking, packaging and kitting products after production when necessary
- Housekeeping and organizing indoor and outdoor storage areas
- Inspecting daily material moving equipment
- Counting parts moving to the next location - hand and scale counting
- Adjusting inventory as trained
Requirements
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly or occasionally required to meet the following physical demands:
- Able to lift 45 pounds independently
- Able to speak clearly and understandably, with a pleasant tone of voice and manner
- Ability to hear within a range that enables normal telephone communication
- Able to see a computer screen within reasonable reading distance without strain
- Able to type at a keyboard without bodily or psychological discomfort most of the working day
- Ability to ambulate around the office environment and manufacturing floor comfortably in order to fulfill tasks required in various offices and departments
- Able to drive a forklift
- Able to press and let up on each pedal independently according to operator instructions
- Able to work extended shifts on occasion
